Meteorologist Jason Parkin worked on-air on radio, for KCCI-TV, WHO-TV, KGAN-TV, KCAU-TV, WeatherNation TV, and KCWI-TV for a total of 19 years. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and Iowa State University, to which he still owes vast sums of money. He established this website to provide a simple and complete source for weather information for the metro area on the web and (soon) on mobile platforms.

Meteorologist Mike Holts has worked on-air at KEYC TV in Mankato, MN along with forecasting in the private sector for the past 6 years. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2004 and is a former KCCI intern.  Mike is originally from Ogden, IA but currently lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, daughter and lab mix Midnight.  He still does some on-air work at KQ2 in St. Joseph, MO, and manages a similar website to this one in the KC area.
